Saturday 15th November | 9:30AM-2:30PM | Uralla
St Mark’s UNEchurch and Bundarra Anglican are getting together for a Big Day Out this November. We’re so blessed to be part of this community that Christ has formed, and this day will help us build our connection to one another.
Here is the big picture plan for the day:

The day begins all together at St John’s Anglican Church Uralla (12 Park Street) where we’ll spend some time in God’s word, and ends all together with lunch at Alma Park (8 Queen Street).
In the middle is a 90 minute window where we’ll head out in groups to enjoy some of the best that Uralla has to offer. You can see the options in the grid above, but here are a few more details on the 8 options for group time. You can select your preferred group when you register!
Please note: With the exception of the leader-run kids program running alongside the teaching time at St John’s (where children will be signed-in and signed-out), parents and carers are responsible for supervision of their children at all times. So keep that in mind as you choose your activity!
Options are listed in order of most active/energetic to least. We’re aiming to cater of a wide range of interests, ages and abilities.
- “Wheelies” – BYO bikes and/or scooters and have a blast at the outdoor bike and scooter park. There is a BMX/Mountain bike track alongside a kids bike/scooter course. There are toilets available on site.

- “Active Explorers & Sports” – Check out one of Uralla’s recently upgraded parks, The Glen! The park has a walking trail alongside the creek which runs down the length of the park and many sculptures to discover. Bring a ball and some goals or a cricket bat and ball to use on the oval closer to the car park. There are toilets available on site.

- “The Great Outdoors” – Head to Uralla’s famous Wooldridge Recreation & Fossicking Reserve where you can pan for gold and generally enjoy the tranquility of exploring the creek. Uralla Visitor Information centre has gold pans for hire and some helpful info in their gold panning guide.

- “History Buffs” – Calling all museum lovers! This group will be joining a guided tour of the collections at McCrossin’s Mill Museum and if there’s time checking out what’s on offer next door at the Seasons of New England.

- “Retreat” – The Alternate Root cafe and its lovely pressed iron ceilings are coffee retreat option numero uno! We’ll book a table or two so you can enjoy a relaxing time making new connections over whatever you choose to order. Accessible friendly!

- “Retreat II” – The Bolt Inn has coffee and bar snacks and space to spread out and catch up and is retreat option number two! We’ll book a table or two so you can enjoy a relaxing time making new connections over whatever you choose to order.
